REVIEW OF LUSH PRODUCT CALLED OCEAN SALT

"OCEAN SALT" is a facial/cleanser scrub.. This is only used on the face.. The package says its used for removing dead skin & gives a complexion that glows..

As soon as i opened the pot i saw a nice blue colour, but the colour is not going to remove the dead skin is it... Upon ignoring the colour I noticed the salt content with the paste, they are not granulated equally at all.... The salt was also kind of separated from the paste so i had to mix it first... Then i applied it on my face {the bigger salt particles kept falling down} & i just instantaneously remembered my friends cat... I'm doing this comparing because my friends cat used to always scratch every1 and on applying the scrub to my face was like having scratch feeling and on top of it since my face skin got scratched it started to burn due to the presence of lime in the scrub... I just washed it of immediately... Yes my skin did feel softer later but at what cost...

Using this is no way different from other scrubs... 1st damped skin and then apply quantity needed for face and massage the scrub on skin {excluding the eyes} in clock/anti clock direction.. face needs to be scrubbed once in a week..

Lime, coconut, grapefruit, sea salt are all mixed together in stimulator to create this scrub.. when i smell the product i kind of get a citrus smell..

The product code of this is 232, weight is 120g, costs rs.860 .. It comes in a smaller pot container..

As i have mentioned in my earlier blog you can get the product in any of the store locations at your place... if you have already bought before and wanna buy another but you just don't have the time then you can mail order..

The store from which i bought, is located in FORUM MALL {Koramangala}..
I got it on 4/2/10/...

I'm sooo not happy with this product... I spent almost 900 rs and its just not living up to its level and now I'm stuck with it.. My hunt for a facial scrub continues...

I HAVE BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT WITH MY OWN MONEY AND IN NO WAY AM I AFFILIATED WITH THIS COMPANY .. I'M NOT PAID TO DO THIS BLOG.. AND THE REVIEW IS BASED ON MY HONEST UNBIASED OPINION..

REVIEW OF A LUSH PRODUCT CALLED JASMIN & HENNA FLUFF - EAZE

This is a pre shampoo hair moisturising treatment used on hair that has been subjected to heating products (like curling/straightening), bad weather, etc.. does not help for hair fall, dandruff..
I have started straightening my hair once a week... i do use a heat protector but the prob was that my hair tips started becoming like dry straw kind... what ever protector you use that's available in the market the tips tend to not agree with them... so when i came across this LUSH product i though ill give it a try... this hair moisturiser made my hair really soft, shiny and my hair tips are really healthy looking & don't look like straws...
Using this is really easy... its paste kind and its not too runny can easily apply with bare hands... before washing hair just pile generously on to hair (not on scalp), leave for 20 or 30 Min's.... trust me you'll know when its enough... shampoo off and follow what ever you do normally... this treatment should be done just once a week..
this nifty cosmetic contains henna, water, olive oil, ceterayl alcohol, sodium lauryl sulfate, benzyl alcohol, ylang oil, jasmine, wheatgerm oil, jojoba oil, almond oil, Brazil nut oil, coconut oil, organic hemp oil, soya oil, Castor oil, methylparaben, propylparaben... phew that's a mouth full of words...

the over all smell that i got was a nice mild jasmine scent, which is another factor that i liked... cos strong smells and me just does not work and also this fragrance is so calm like feeling...

code of the product is 2687, it weighs about 220g... its packed in a very nice long black pot which has a sticker stating by whom it was made by and when it was made and
on the packing it says that you will need 1 full pot for long hair... and i have like very long hair, its up to my waist and i have used this pot already like 4 times and i think that i can use it 2 more times... you see it depends on how thick you hair is and how you apply it.. now the crucial part, how much it costs... well when i saw the price 1st i was like wow!!! so much but then i also always try a product at least once if i don't have a nice 1 already.... when i bought it the cost was 1450 RS and i have already mentioned how many time i can use it, so technically speaking it cost me 242RS every time i use it & if i have to get this done in a spa I'm thinking it would cost me about 500RS at least soooo my point is that its not that bad....
as i have mentioned it my previous blog you can get the product in any of the store locations at your place .... if you have already bought before and wanna buy another and don't need the necessity to go to shop and check it out then you can just mail order..
the store from which i bought is located in FORUM MALL........
i got it on 4/2/10.......
I'm really happy with the output result of my hair so I'll definitely be buying this again after my pot gets over....
for further info check out www.lushindia.com
for any help you can also contact them +91 99455 46610.... this is sooo not a toll free number guys...

I hope the info I gave was helpful... If I have missed out something plzzz let me know so that I don't do the same mistake again... I would really like your feed back, so just leave them in the comments section...

WHAT ARE LUSH PRODUCTS

Now before I head onto reviewing LUSH products I would like to give some info to all the people who have not heard about LUSH....

This is a foreign based company & they saw a positive response from the public & I guess they just wanted to try if the stuff sells like hot cakes in India also ... They have 2 outlets in Bengaluru/ Kolkata, 1 in Delhi/ Gurgaon/ Ahmedabad & 3 in Mumbai...

Now a peek into the whole process... Lush makes products out of fresh fruits, veg's, essential oils, safe synthetics & they do not use animal ingredients... They buy ingredients needed from companies that don't do animal testing.... They make the products by hand & give a personal touch by mentioning which employee it was made and packed by which will further on be printed on the sticker and pasted with the product....

Every once in a while they come out with their own magazine called as LUSH TIMES in this they will feature all the products that they are selling along with information such as rates, ingredients used, comments from lush users, etc..

Now if you cant go to the shop or don't have one in your place they not to worry cos you can mail order the items....

LUSH has everything that a person needs like soap, bubble bars, shower gels, cleansers, toners, moisturizers, henna, etc, etc, etc.... They have not ignored the men, yes the range is less but at least
its a start....

For further info go to www.lushindia.com

Now the final judgment call, lets check
varieties to choose from - good
quality - varies from product to product
product fragrances - good
product life - good
price - very very costly for the middle class Indian market

Hope the info was enough, thanks for reading my blog...

Last but not the least....
