review of "NEUTROGENA LIP BALM"

INDICATION:

Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer with SPF 15 is a lip balm, made in USA.. I have dry chapped lips which lines on my lips.. I saw this Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer lip balm in the store and thought that Neutrogena is a well know brand so let's try out the lip balm...

Warning:

For external use only. If swallowed contact a poison control center right away. Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if irritation or rash appears. Keep out of reach of children.

Action:

According to Neutrogena their lip balm delivers softens / soothes / smoothes lips and no waxy feel at all!! .... I tried it and it does everything except the lines on my lips remain as they are, I need something that also makes my lips surface smooth... While applying I did notice a weird smell but as soon as application is over, so is the smell..

Directions for Use:

Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer is packaged in the standard lip balm packaging... It's a white tube with a white cap and has a blue twisting section near the base of the cap... Twisting the blue part will raise the white lip balm...

Use as often as needed... Best is to wet lips, wipe them dry and then re apply.. Otherwise what ever dirt / foreign matter / food stains / etc on the lips will get transferred onto the lip balm also...

If you’re going to apply lipstick then I would advice you to apply a thin coat of balm wait for a while and then apply your lipstick..

ACCORDING TO THE COMPANY:

Contains oils like Neem which does protect skin from antibacterial & Lemon refreshes / protects skin from antiseptic properties, and Turmeric nourishes / improves complexion and its antiseptic activities protects the skin...

ACCORDING TO ME:

Since it contains antibacterial properties its very useful for those living in city as we come into contact with dust and germs... I did not notice any change in complexion, I guess 1 bar of soap in not sufficient for that.. Used it for washing my face and I did not end up with any break out's... The smell of soap does not linger on the skin afterwards...

USAGE : Wet the body, apply generously and rinse...

review of HIMALAYA NEEM FACE PACK

On using Himalaya Neem Face Pack which happens to be an herbal Ayurveda formula, we obtain a clearer skin, controls the outbreak and re appearing of pimples... Improves skin texture.... Skin breathes which causes skin to repair it self better, firms up the skin making the skin look younger with a glow...

If you have oily skin then clay based face packs are the best solutions... I always need them in summer time the most...
I keep saying and am saying again, always due a patch test on skin 1st before going all the way..

On applying I observed a bit of burning, if you come across that then don’t be alarmed it's just the effect from the turmeric, it will pass in due course... But if the burning is not tolerable then it suggests that you are allergic or have sensitive skin, its better if you tried another product available in market...

The Antibacterial like Neem present in the Face Pack purifies skin and controls excess oil secretion, cleans the clogged pores and prevents pimples... And Turmeric removes acne-causing bacteria... Fuller's Earth (Multani Mitti) cools and soothes the skin.

Directions for Use:
Now we first clean our face then apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, avoiding the area around eyes (as it's very delicate)... Allow it to dry for 10-15 minutes or till it dries up... Remove with wet cloth/cotton swab/etc and wash the skin with cool water... Use once or twice a week... Best to use it after steaming face as the pores will open up... Then in last apply choice of moisturizer..

review of HIMALAYA NEEM FACE WASH

HIMALAYA NEEM FACE WASH is a gel kind of face wash which upon using gets all foamed up... This is a soap free face wash which has an herbal formula containing neem and turmeric.. It’s very mild on the skin..

I have combination skin due to which this has been perfect for my skin as it removes the oiliness from the areas my skin is oily and the other area it does not make it too dry, which I have observed with other face washes..

We all should know the basics and for those who don't here it is...

Neem is know for its antibacterial properties it helps in controlling acne / pimples, and prevents them from recurrence...

Turmeric is used to eliminate acne-causing bacteria..

And the result is clear oil / dry feeling of skin...

Now let me explain on how to use this.. First we wet our face, then apply a small amount of Purifying Neem Face Wash and gently work up lather with a circular motion using your palms against face. Rinse off with water and remember, pat dry gently.

The Ingredients are:

# Azadirachta indica (Neem, Nimba)

# Curcuma longa (Turmeric, Haridra)

It's packed in squeeze bottle with the top cap.. I have found it a bit difficult to open the cap when my hands are wet cause the grip is not their. It weighs about 50ml and costs Rs. 45

This is available in pharmacy stores and I’ve seem them in all malls... So finding them is no problem..

This is a glove kind which is worn and then used to exfoliate the skin by rubbing the skin surface..

Exfoliating removes dead skin cells to reveal new, healthy ones. The result obtained on doing religiously is super soft skin that is smooth to the touch, no more ingrown hair..

Dont use it everyday as it's not good to strip the skin off its natural oils.. Best to use it every alternate day if you are living in city and have to face the harsh climate everyday, then you have to moisturiser the skin after exfoliating.. If your not being exposed to dust, sweat, etc that often then once a week will do..
Apply a bit pressure without being too rough on skin..
Concentrate in areas like elbows, knee caps, toe gaps, etc (as they are a bit harder skin and are exposed to climate more)...
