Tips To Over Come Constipation
DO'S
1. If you suffer from constipation, eat a ripe guava first thing in the morning.
2. Yoga and pranayam to be done regularly.
3. One should sleep early and get up early so that undigested matter is eliminated timely.
4. Take an alternate hot and cold hip bath in tub with feet outside. Simultaneously you should massage the abdomen from left to right with towel. This can be done twice a week.
5. Direct mud application on abdomen on empty stomach.
6. Soak dry figs in water and consume them following morning.

1. Urge to pass stools should not be suppressed.
2. One should never exert or strain at the time of passing stools.

5. Stimulants like tea, coffee and cold drinks.
6. Lack of exercise.
7. Insufficient water intake.
EFFECT
1. Dry and hard stools.
2. Crampy abdominal pains.
3. Bleeding piles caused due to straining at time of passing stools.
4. Coated tongue, headache and dullness.
DIETARY MEASURES
1. Eat slowly and chew food thoroughly to aid proper digestion.
2. Take fresh fruits an green vegetables.
3. Dietary fibre present in cereals and raw salad is essential.
