the game season where almost everyone prefers to sit in the outdoor seating area..

Hi everyone, :D
     I finally got the time to upload some pictures of the marriage. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we have :D..

Applying mehndi :)..

Tie selection for my hubby at P N RAO Suits ... We got the suit also from here only..

My makeup station before the reception .. Did the makeup and hairstyle myself :D..

Hairstyle that I worn for the reception.. It looks elegant and easy to do by our-self. It took me less than an hour's time to do it.

How the stage looked for our reception :). 

My awesome designer saree worn on the reception day .. God, it was pretty heavy.. Very happy that I was able to find my saree in less than a month's time .. I got the saree from a store called Temple Silks . I stumbled upon this store during my visit to Times Asia Wedding Fair, very glad that such fair's are held.

What is it about gifts that make us smile and happy like a child ... We don't even know what is inside and yet we are so glee ..

How the mehndi looked after it was done.. As for nails I did an ombre effect using a pink colour (video tutorial of this is available in my YouTube channel) so that it matches my saree and still does not draw the attraction towards the nails..

Outing: The Nest home stay in Coonoor, India - BanagloreBengaluru

Hi Guys,
    One of the many places to visit in the weekend is Nilgiri hills. So we headed of to Coonoor, the climate was perfect and the ride was almost perfect.
    You see I am not used to traveling long journey's in bike and this was like a practice for me. According to everyone I did pretty well cos when they all did such a travel for the first time on a bike they where just flat on the bed for a day or so :D..
    Now about the place, I was glad that it was very quite. Chilled out and then headed back to Bengaluru city the next day afternoon.

movie review : The Conjuring

My spoiler-filled review :

The story goes like this..
The opening scene is set in 1970's, some people are talking about a possessed doll and seeking help from paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, the investigators are very qualified in their field, they are devoted Catholics and a bit romantic in nature as they believe they are together for a reason which is paranormal.

The investigators have a shrine in their house which stores all the artifacts that were connected to the paranormal that they acquired during their work and a priest blesses the room once a month to make sure that the evil spirits stay intact. They travel to different locations educating people by giving seminars and conducting investigations in different places..

Far off is a secluded farmhouse in an isolated area in Rhode Island, the Perron family along with their dog move into a house which they acquired from a bank sale. The family comprising of 5 girls are in full energy setting up the place. Right away strange events begin to happen to them starting with The dog refusing to enter the house and is found dead by the youngest daughter later the next day with reasons not shown. All the clock stop working at 3:07am. Mrs Perron wakes up with bruises on her body and thinks it because of iron deficiency. Then they start to show more intense paranormal events like the kids feet getting pulled while they are asleep, photo frames falling from where they are hung, etc..

While playing a game called "hide and clap" the mother comes in contact with a spirit. During the night while figuring out the sounds she gets locked up in the basement along with the spirit and during this part her oldest daughter is attacked by the ghost. As the days passed on the attacks become increasingly violent and physical. They presumed the house was haunted and seek the investigators help.

From investigators the Perrons realize that the house was not but they themself's are the victims. The dark spirits had latched itself onto them. The investigators try to figure out what the spirit wants and helps the family putting themselves at harm.






My review:
This movie's main marketing is that its a real life story. Don't know if its a marketing trick or not but after you see
'The Conjuring' you will have a sleepless night or two.

Must watch it at least once in the theater to get the full effect of the sound.






I stuff that I loved :
Starting only it shows that this is a horror based movie, no long suspense
Shows that the dog refuses to enter the house which has the spirit
When asleep the kids leg is pulled almost every night
When the mother gets locked in the basement by a spirit
no demon voice was used during the exorcism (it's old school) of the character, she was covered up with a sheet and tied up to a chair
Cast played by the Warren and Perron family was very natural and not over board
Soundtrack of the movie called " She saw something"
